Chick-fil-A Banned Two Franchises From Hosting Conservative Book Signing

I have been an unabashed supporter of Chick-fil-A for a number of years and I have written countless stories defending their beliefs.

However, a few weeks later we were notified that corporate headquarters had pulled the plug on both book signings. It was unfortunate seeing how the owner/operators had extended the invitation in the first place. It was not that big of a deal — and so I decided to keep the incident quiet. But with today’s news about Chick-fil-A’s change in values — well — so now you know the rest of the story.


There have been quiet whispers in the conservative movement for quite some time that Chick-fil-A had moved to the far left of the political chicken coop.

But for the sake of supporting the restaurant chain — many of us kept quiet. That was a mistake.

Chick-fil-A President Tim Tassopoulos told Bisnow that the restaurant will no longer provide charitable donations to Christian organizations like Salvation Army and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

“There’s no question we know that, as we go into new markets, we need to be clear about who we are,” he told the website. “There are lots of articles and newscasts about Chick-fil-A, and we thought we needed to be clear about our message.”

The Christian community heard Chick-fil-A’s declaration loud and clear. And now I want to share a Chick-fil-A story that I had previously kept quiet.
